Silent Drift

"Silent Drift by Yasi Azad" explores stillness through restraint—where minimal form and negative space create a quiet yet compelling visual dialogue. The composition centers on two elongated, organic shapes that appear suspended in a moment of subtle motion.

Set against a richly layered black ground, the surface reveals fine horizontal textures that catch light softly across the canvas. The raised forms introduce a sculptural dimension, their smooth contours contrasting with the matte background, creating depth through both material and shadow.

The palette remains intentionally restrained—deep charcoal and soft black tones enhanced by faint highlights. This monochromatic approach evokes a sense of calm and introspection, allowing form and texture to take precedence over color.

Framed in natural wood, this piece brings a grounded sophistication to contemporary interiors. Ideal for modern living spaces, offices, or gallery walls, it offers a refined focal point that complements minimalist and architectural environments.
